12:15 am August 1. I woke up almost 2 hours of driving and we were in Orillia. I have no idea how many Tim's my brothers stopped at, but I needed out (in my underwear) in front of some carpet and tile store.
10:22 pm July 31. Within 12 minutes we tore everything down, put out our fire (burnt some clothes from the wind), our neighbors fire (as they were out to the store), swam into the car and started our journey back to Ottawa a day early!
10:09 pm July 31. As myself and Len were trying to get some beautiful lightning on camera, we turned to each other after a blast of wind that almost knocked us over, ughhh...somethings brewing here!
9:52 pm July 31. We ended up getting out of the Family Reunion pretty early, as the rain started coming down in torrential downpour. We were happy to get back when we did as we had some work to do to our campsite. As we were working, loud cracks of thunder and major lightning was starting!
11:19 am July 31. Todd is grumpy because, well, we really don't know why. Maybe because I caught him waiting for his water to boil on his second coffee.
5:50 pm July 30. Now we're talking! This is where the smarter people come to go in the water. Sandy Beach, across the Bruce Peninsula from Lion's Head, on Lake Huron where the water is 100 times warmer and a wonderful shallow sandy beach.
4:51 pm July 30. Somewhere up there, once was a Lion's Head formed by rocks (hence, the town's name). Years and years and years and years have gone by and the Lion's Head fell away
4:46 pm July 30. Standing at the end of the pier at the Lion's Head Marina. Water was so clean and clear, I just wanted to jump in. But did not, knowing it would probably stop my heart from cold shock!
4:17 pm July 30. As we were looking, we ran into someone (Dwayne Lougheed) who knew all of my family so......chat chat chat. Notice how his granddaughter was afraid to step in the wrong spot!
